Text+, Task Area Editions, Measure 4: "Community Activities"

The adaptation of modern research data management methods (RDM) and tools in the field of digital
editions is proceeding at different speeds. Text+ aims to support this process with community-oriented services.

Project information

Text+ aims to develop an open infrastructure for the editing community. Measure 4 offers a broad program of workshops and tutorials and develops curricular recommendations on current and
upcoming research standards, technologies and applications in the field of editions.

Events, teaching materials and infrastructure measures are used to promote the establishment of current standards and methods for handling text and language-based research data. Findability,
accessibility, interoperability, reusability and quality assurance are guidelines both in the context of community building and in the area of our own infrastructure and application software.

  • Survey on tools, standards and FDM knowledge in the field of digital editions, among other things, from which needs for training materials and offers are derived.
  • Survey of community needs for RDM offerings, numerous workshops, event series and materials on tools, standards and processes.
