The dkmi Research Centre

The Research Centre Digital Communication and Media Innovation (dkmi) sees itself as a think tank, experimental laboratory and research platform on the future of media and communication.

To this end, the centre combines perspectives from art, society and technologies and uses innovative research and development methods. To this end, the dkmi research centre is interdisciplinary in its composition.

The topics of the research centre cover a wide range of media innovation and digital communication: they range from 3D audio to virtual reality, from transmedia storytelling to digital journalism, from PR to sustainability communication, from knowledge management to language technology and from organisational development to media competence.
