"Isn't it a point of honour?!"

Communication problems between volunteers and full-time workers in refugee work are to be solved by the project. Within the framework of a teaching research project, teaching and further training material is being designed for better cooperation between full-time and voluntary workers.

 

Project Information

  • Creation of electronic teaching materials that meet the complex communication objectives of the problem.
  • Intensive induction of the student. Project team into a highly topical social problem and the possibilities for its productive solutions.

  • Analysis of the diverse and sometimes paradoxical communication goals of the teaching
    materials
  • Choice of an adequate audiovisual genre
  • Development of a formal language to convey the content and the communication goals
  • Script development; audiovisual realisation
  • Close coordination with project partners and public presentations.
  • Transferability of the working methodology to comparable teaching content in the political or social field.
  • Gain in dramaturgical knowledge: under which conditions scenic representations implement the complex, sometimes paradoxical communication goals of the project in an appropriate way.
  • Gain in knowledge about working with communities, congregations and social communities (both volunteers and professionals).
  • Result: 18 short films of about 7-8 minutes each.
  • High public attention in the communities and in the press; screenings of the films.
  • Media Campus of the h_da emerged as a professional project partner, especially in rural areas around the campus. Since then, many requests.
  • Publication of the 18 short films and permanent use as teaching materials.
  • Lecture at a symposium
