Prof. Dr. Marc Rittberger

Short profile

Marc Rittberger has been head of the Education Information Centre at the DIPF |Leibniz Institute for Educational Research and Information since 2005, and holds a professorship in Information Management at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.

He studied physics at KIT and information science at the University of Konstanz, where he received his doctorate in 1995. In 2000-2002 he was head of the Steinbeis Centre Information Management & Information Engineering in Konstanz, held the chair of Information Science at the University of Düsseldorf in 2002-2003 and held a professorship in Information Science at the Filière Information
documentaire of the Haute école de gestion de Genève from 2002-2005.
