“(How) do you like cycling?”: This is what the citizen panel team at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences (h_da) would like to know from people in Darmstadt and the surrounding area. In their current survey, the researchers from the “System Innovation for Sustainable Development” (s:ne) project are also interested in what people would like to see in a new all-weather bicycle: The “Darmstadt-Vehicle” (DaVe) is currently under development. Interested parties can take part after registering once online at buergerpanel.h-da.de

The citizens' panel at h_da regularly asks citizens from Darmstadt and the surrounding area about ideas that can improve people's everyday lives and promote sustainable development in the region. It is part of the “System Innovation for Sustainable Development” (s:ne) project at h_da, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the state of Hesse as part of the “Innovative University” funding line. In s:ne, researchers develop sustainable innovations together with stakeholders from business, society, science and administration. The results of the citizen panel surveys are incorporated into the development and implementation of these initiatives.
