Prof. Dr Andreas Vlašić has been a new member of the dkmi since July 2022. His research
focuses on the fields of strategic (brand) communication, methods of empirical social research and diversity and social integration.
Andreas Vlašić studied communication science, philosophy and computer science (Magister Artium, 1998) and did his doctorate on "The integration function of mass media" (Dr. phil., 2003). He then worked as the managing director of the Medien Institut for Media, Social and Market Research and in this capacity worked with numerous renowned, nationally and
internationally active companies as well as public institutions and foundations. Since 2013, he has held a parallel professorship for marketing at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Mannheim, and in 2020 he moved to a professorship for online branding and brand management at the h_da University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt.
