DaVe is somewhere between an S-pedelec, motorcycle and car. Like an e-bike, it can be ridden with battery support, the fairing is reminiscent of a motorcycle and serves as a splash guard and storage space, among other things. The upright, ergonomic seating position is more familiar from cars. “DaVe is very comfortable and pleasant to ride. You feel safe and stable even when riding faster,” explains industrial design professor Tom Philipps from the Department of Design at h_da, who is the scientific head of the research project and initiated DaVe.
