Institutional Research Priority: Communication, Media and Social Transformation
Since 2012, the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK) has been publishing a map of university research in Germany. Shortly afterwards, the map was expanded to include research at universities of applied sciences (HAW).
The map identifies institutional research priorities (FSP) at HAWs in Germany. Generally, these research priorities are dedicated to major societal challenges and are interdisciplinary in nature.
Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is currently represented by three research priorities:
Members of the dkmi Research Centre and the Institute for Communication and Media (ikum) all contrubute to this research focus.
